Remote Audit Wizard USS965 REL 5.0 Remote Audit Wizard
The United Systems and Software, Inc. (USSI), Remote Audit
Wizard (USS965) integrates with USS915e Worker's Compensation
Administration System to provide auditors and underwriters with
detailed information and tracking of payroll and premium audits.
Product Description
Remote Audit Wizard includes client software that runs on a
remote auditor's personal or notebook computer. The client
software allows the auditor to:
- Receive Audit Assignments
- Diary / Schedule Audit Visits
- Enter Detailed Audit Information
- Transmit Completed or Incomplete Audits to the Home Office for Processing
The Remote Audit Wizard home office host software provides for:
- Assignment of Audits
- Transmission of Audits to Remote Auditors
- Receipt of Completed and Incomplete Audits
- Review / Editing of Information Received from the Auditor
- Update of Policy / Employer Records and Audit Billing
- Control Reporting
Remote Auditing Features
The Remote Audit Wizard client captures detailed information
concerning the insured including:
- Demographic Information
- Source of Documents
- Name, Social Security Number, Class Code, Type of Employee, Gross Payroll, Adjustments, Occupation
- Description of Operations
- Questionnaire
- Notes
- Owner / Officer Status and Exclusions
Home Office (Host) Features
Auditors are assigned to insureds, and are designated as in-
house, or remote. Remote auditors receive download files that
includes their audit assignments, and updates to control codes
and tables, all of which are generated by the host.
Underwriters are notified at the receipt of an audit from the
auditor. Underwriters may edit all information received. Changes to
the insured demographics are highlighted, and the Underwriter
may choose to update the master file with the changes. When the
Underwriter’s review of the audit is completed, the Underwriter
may choose to; 1) update the master files with the audit
information generate an audit bill; 2) reassign the audit to another
auditor; or 3) mark the audit as incomplete.
The audit status is tracked within the Employer Master inquiry. An
audit status report is available to show the number of audits that
have been assigned, uploaded, returned, and completed, by auditor.
